I keep a list of books that I'd like to read. Lately, I seem to be reading about three non-fiction books to every fiction one. I own many books, and I use public libraries a lot.
For many years, I've been part of a reading group that reads books aloud. (Yes, it takes ages to get through the books.)

Having a human companion for reading aloud in the car is better than having a recording that won't know when you need to concentrate on the road.

No, actually, just Honorable Mention. For two years in a row, I entered Jasper Fforde's Nextreme photo competition, receiving an honorable mention in 2008. (The Thursday Next series is quite clever, and it appeals to both my Anglophilia and my love of books.) Click here for my "honorable" entry.
